Royal Charity Organization welcomes a delegation from Rome
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, His Majesty' Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Charity Organization, has extended His Highness's sincere thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, for His Royal Majesty's attention to the Bahraini citizens in all aspects, especially in the field of educational capabilities and talents of Bahraini orphans. "Such a successful experience, namely, the establishment of the Royal Charity Organization in 2001, stands as a clear evidence for a tremendous example of His Majesty's successful initiatives in education and health", His Highness Shaikh Nasser said.
His Highness Shaikh Nasser also expressed his pride for the good relationship in the various aspects between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Italian Republic.
This statement was made by His Highness Shaikh Nasser during a visit to the Royal Organization Charity by an Italian delegation who specifically came to Bahrain to extend their appreciation to His Majesty the King for sponsoring an academic chair in the University of Rome.
The delegation was received by His Excellency Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed, the Secretary-General of the Royal Charity Organization. The delegation was headed by Professor Alessandro Savior of the University of Rome and a group of accompaniments.
Dr. Al-Sayed welcomed the delegation and presented the delegation members with a brief on the humanitarian and relief experience of the Royal Charity Organization. "Such activities receive direct support of His Majesty the King under the leadership and guidance of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Charity Organization", he said.
On their part, the delegation members expressed their gratitude to the King's humanitarian and relief initiatives in tolerance, world piece and special attention to humanitarian affairs in terms of education. "This is reflected clearly is His Majesty's sponsorship of an academic chair for humanitarian sciences in the University of Rome as a scientific strategy addressing people, away from racial, colour, sectarian or religion fanaticism", Professor Alessandro Savior said.
A delegation of the Royal Charity Organization visited the University of Rome in 2016. The delegation received a brief on the University's educational programs, especially those covering the support of the needy people and on the exchange of expertise with Bahrain.
Arab Toastmasters Clubs hold its Forum in Bahrain
The First Toastmasters Forum (Toastmasters and Media Challenges) was held under the patronage of Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed, Secretary-general of the Royal Charity Organization (RCO). The forum was organized by the Toastmasters Horizon Club in association the Arab clubs and strategic partnership with Tamkeen.
During the meeting, Dr. Al Sayed gave a welcoming speech and stressed the important role of the toastmasters clubs in consecrating speechmaking as a technique to develop and manifest the leaders of the future.
He also highlighted the media’s role in the development of organizational reputation and the formation of public opinion through its role in presenting academic programs and services.
He emphasized the effect of the media on society economically, socially and politically. Explaining that this mission needs education and skills through academic education or scientific forums, and to make sure of the source of information to be trusted especially for toastmaster which is being spread widely with evolution of social media, internet and television.
Alsayed assured the importance of upholding to commitment, honesty, transparency, innovation and creativity, and constructive ideas in all discussions that contribute to the growth and advancement of individual, community and the nation progress.
From his part, Forum’s director Abdulrahman Janahi expressed gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed for his patronage of the program and encouragement of the participants regarding attention to the positive media and consecration of this vocation.
He added that the club undertakes the training of youth on building their confidence, positive thinking, and expressing personality through speech.
AlSayed Visits Princess Jawaher Center And Signs MOU in Works of Charity
Under a generous initiative,
His Excellency Dr. Mustafa Alsayed, RCO’s Secretary General had visited Princess Jawaher Center for Mashael Al Khair in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. HE was received by Dr. Adel Al Saleh, CEO of Prince Mohammad Bin Fahad for Humanitarian Development (PMFHD). The visit aimed at viewing their leading experience in the field of charity, social work and child care, as well as benefiting from their pioneering experience in supporting productive families and developing children’s talents, in addition to signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two parties.
During the visit, the Director of the Center, Mariam Al Yahya, gave a brief about programs and projects, which was admired by Dr. Alsayed and the accompanying delegation.
From his part, Dr. Mustafa highlighted the role of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the King's Representative for Charity and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Charity Organization (RCO) in providing comprehensive and distinct care in the service of orphans, widows and the needy people of Bahraini families, and also in providing decent and stable lives for citizens, as well as development projects, aid and relief campaigns provided by RCO to the brotherly and friendly afflicted countries.
Then, Al-Sayed and the accompanying delegation toured the Center and the social services provided. The Center includes: Prince Nayef Center for Training and Rehabilitation, Production and Handcrafts Section, Women's Training Institute, Princess Nouf Women's Worker's Fund, Leen Health Club, and Al-Masha'al Kindergarten.
During the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Royal Charity Organization and the Princess Jawaher Center for Masha'el Al Khair to exchange information, experience and cooperation in charitable and humanitarian work.
The Director of the Center Mariam Al Yahya said that the aim of the MoU is to focus on humanitarian development and charitable activities through the implementation of programs and activities that support the humanitarian, social and economic role that benefits needy families.
She added: the signing of the memorandum comes to establish formulas for integration in charitable affairs to achieve the concept of cooperation and partnership between the bodies and associations working in the field of community service through the provision of humanitarian and charitable services in order to improve the quality of those services to beneficiaries.
It is worth mentioning that the Center seeks to enhance the role of women in the social and economic development of the Kingdom. The Center brought together charitable work and training for all women, which is one of the initiatives of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz. The establishment of the Center came to provide a better environment for the advancement of females economically and professionally and to overcome the phenomenon of unemployment and moving from the stage of seeking help to work and production.
