HH Shaikh Nasser Praises the Role of RCO in Serving Charity work or Humanitarian Aid
Under the patronage of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) has held its annual gathering in a token of appreciation to RCO members’ and administration’s contributions and efforts in the past year in the implementation of HM the King’s directives to provide maximum care for all families under its umbrella.
On the occasion, HH Shaikh Nasser has valued the Royal sponsorship and fatherly attention extended by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Honourary President of RCO, to the Organisation as well as the support of HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. Meanwhile, HH Shaikh Nasser applauded the constant directives of HM the King and HM’s keenness to provide all necessary services and care to all the families of RCO to ensure them a decent and stable life.
Moreover, HH Shaikh Nasser conveyed the greetings and appreciation of HM the King to the members and the Board of Trustees of RCO, praising their enormous efforts and prominent role in serving orphans and widows and all eligible sectors of the Bahraini society.
Furthermore, HH Shaikh Nasser called on all employees of RCO to submit proposals and consultations to improve the work of the Organisation, stating that they would be forwarded to the competent authority which would be established to receive consultations and proposals. During his speech, HH Shaikh Nasser said that he would not give up working in RCO under any circumstances, noting his pride in charitable work. During the ceremony, HH Shaikh Nasser honoured the employees of the year and the staff members who received certificates of excellence in 2017 in recognition of their outstanding work and efforts.
For his part, HE Dr Mustafa Al Sayyed, RCO Secretary-General, expressed his utmost appreciation to HM the King for HM’s keenness to provide maximum support to all the families sponsored by RCO, hailing the efforts of HH Shaikh Nasser and HH’s endeavors in leading RCO.
GPIC Donates for Real Madrid Foundation Academy
His Excellency Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed Secretary General of the Royal Charity Organization (RCO) received Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery, President of Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC). During the meeting, Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed received a financial contribution from GPIC to support Real Madrid Foundation Academy of Bahrain.
On this occasion, his Excellency Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed appraised the constant attention from GPIC to give charity and support the humanitarian work done by RCO.
On his part, Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery President of GPIC assured that they will keep giving support and assistance to the various programs and activities presented by RCO and which return with benefit on the orphans, widows and those in need, in order to achieve social interdependence and cooperation.
RCO also aspires to use this charitable sports academy revenue to provide care to orphans and widows and support people in need. As Real Madrid Foundation Academy aims to enhance and improve the students’ social skills and improve their relationships with the others, and contribute in social integration with their peers. As well as spreading education to all levels of society through playing soccer, promoting ethical values and growing them up on fair play, integrating the orphans with their peers in various sport courses, help each child in personal stability and assist him to be stress-free, finding an outlet for the youth and children through practicing soccer and finding a sports base of soccer students in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
It is worth noting that Real Madrid Bahrain opens the door to students ranging from 6 to 17 years old of both genders to register and participate, and it’s managed by a selected group of well qualified local educators and trainers with specialized degrees and field experience in dealing with children, and who passed training courses made by Real Madrid and approved by Real Madrid Academy under their observation and supervision.
RCO Signs Health Agreement with Dr. Alawi Al-Alawi Surgical Clinic
The Royal Charity Organization (RCO) has signed a cooperation agreement with Dr. Alawi Al-Alawi’s Surgical Clinic to provide free consultations to the families affiliated with RCO.
The agreement was signed by both his Excellency Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed the Secretary General of RCO and the Consultant Dr. Alawi Al-Alawi.
The Organization is keen to sign many agreements with a number of hospitals and private clinics in order to provide the necessary treatment to the affiliated families in various aspects of ophthalmology, dentistry, orthopedics, and dermatology and other diseases, in order to preserve the health of the orphans and widows, follow up on their health status and provide the necessary treatment for them to live in perfect health and well-being.
