RCO Receives Financial Donation from the National Guard
His Excellency the Secretary General of the Royal Charity Organization (RCO) Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed was received by His Excellency Gen. Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, the Brigade chief of the National Guard, in his office, in the presence of the Religious Advisor of the National Guard’s Chiefship His Highness Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed Al-Hajiri.
And during the meeting, a financial contribution was given by the Brigade chief of the National Guard from the members of the National Guard, to contribute in supporting the projects of the Organization within the context of social responsibility and partnership which the National Guard’s Chiefship is keen to activate in cooperation with various companies and institutions in Bahrain.
On this occasion, the Secretary General of RCO commended the huge cooperation and the leading role of the National Guard, its charitable stands which supports the community, and its contribution in many developmental works in the Bahraini community. And he expressed his thanks and gratitude to the National Guard Director Lt. Gen His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, for such support which contributes in supporting RCO’s programs and activities, appraising the social partnership in promoting charity work among all members of society which helps in rising charity work that is led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
From his side, Gen. Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa praised the generous royal patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Honorary Chairman of RCO, and the great interest of His Majesty in taking care of the orphans and widows of Bahrain, and sponsoring humanitarian and charity work in and outside of the Kingdom, expressing his appreciation and gratitude towards the notable role of RCO in supporting humanitarian and charitable work in various areas in the world, and appraising the efforts made by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of RCO, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in the provision of humanitarian and charity work to everyone in need with all efficiency and competence.
Moreover, His Eminence Sheikh Rashid Al-Hajiri explained that this contribution had been allocated to support RCO’s charity projects and as a contribution from the members of the National Guard to support humanitarian and charity work inside the Kingdom of Bahrain, indicating that the revenue of this financial support was made by the National Guard members’ contributions.
Under the Guidance of His Majesty and the Patronage of HH Nasser bin Hamad, RCO Inaugurates Bahrain’s School for Syrian Refugees in Abu Nseir Designed Using Solar Energy Techniques and Serves 665 Female Students
Under the guidance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad AlKhalifa, His Majesty’s representative for charity and youth affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Charity Organization (RCO), His Excellency the Secretary General of RCO Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed inaugurated Bahrain Middle Girls School in Abu Nseir governorate in the brotherly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
On this occasion, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa extended his sincere thanks and gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Honorary Chairman of RCO, on the noble stand of His Majesty in supporting the brotherly and fraternal peoples and states, and His Majesty’s generous guidance to continue giving humanitarian aid, assistance and help to the Syrian brothers to alleviate their suffering. Commending the efforts of His Highness King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, the King of the brotherly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, by his support to the noble humanitarian work, the duty of our true Islamic religion, and our brotherly and human relations to assist the Syrian brothers.
Moreover, His Highness commended the huge support that RCO finds by implementing these high directives from the good government led by the Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and with the support of the Crown Prince and First Deputy Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
In addition, His Highness said that the Kingdom of Bahrain will continue in supporting the Syrian refugees in the present humanitarian conditions they’re going through and will continue to provide the services they’re most in need of. Also, His Highness appreciated the efforts made by all the official and governmental agencies in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan which reflects the depth of the historical relationship connecting the two wise leaderships in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
On his part, His Excellency Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to His Majesty the King on this generous humanitarian gesture of implementing this leading academic institution, appreciating the efforts made by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in supporting humanitarian projects and sustainable development.
Furthermore, Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed explained that opening the school of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Abu Nseir happened after the great success of Bahrain’s scientific complex in Al-Za’atari Camp, having considered the needs of Jordan of development in the field of education and the needs of the Syrian brothers living outside of the camps. The school serves 665 female middle school students (from 7th to 10th grade), and includes 19 classrooms, a library, science lab, two computer labs and administrative offices for the teachers, and it’s designed around benefiting from the solar energy to provide heat.
In addition, His Excellency said that the implementation of Bahrain’s Middle School in Aby Nseir was done in cooperation with the Hashemite Charity Organization, the Ministry of Education in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the UNICEF office in Jordan, and we hope that through this school we will contribute with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to relieve the pressure on Jordan, for the honorable responsibilities it takes to serve large numbers of Syrian refugee brothers and for the wheel of education to keep moving for the Syrian brothers despite the painful circumstances they’re going through.
For his part, Mr. Sami Al-Salaitah, the Secretary General of Administrative Affairs at the Ministry of Education in Jordan, expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to the leadership, government and people of the Kingdom of Bahrain for their continued support to the Syrian refugees, and its keenness to implement sustainable development projects that contribute to human development, which has a great and active role in the establishment of security and psychological stability. Which is not unusual from the Kingdom of Bahrain which is known for its humanity and support for charity, as it is one of the pioneering countries to help people and provide relief to the distressed and affected people in various countries of the world.
And on his side, the Ambassador of Bahrain to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ahmed bin Yousef Al-Rowaie praised the guidance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in providing aid and help to the needy, the distressed and affected people, and the interest and care His Majesty puts into charitable humanitarian work in and outside of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Ambassador of Bahrain to Jordan confirmed that His Majesty's guidance in this humanitarian project wasn’t unusal, as His Majesty is always quick to direct charity work and providing development projects that serve humans, and that the establishment of Bahrain’s School in Jordan for the Syrian refugees comes to alleviate the suffering of their children and to preserve their future and the continuity of their studies despite the dire circumstances they’re under. Praying to Allah Almighty to bless His Majesty and make His work in the balance of His good deeds.
Also, he appreciated the support which the good government gives to the humanitarian and relief work and the efforts made by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in the provision of humanitarian and charitable work to all distressed and affected needy people and countries in various humanitarian circumstances with all efficiency and competence.
It is noteworthy that RCO has established a number of projects for the Syrian refugees in Al-Za’atari Camp, including the Kingdom of Bahrain Scientific Complex, which consists of four schools serving more than four thousand students of both genders, as well as the establishment of the Kingdom of Bahrain residential complex which consists of 500 complete housing units, and Bahrain Community Center for Creativity. In addition to Bahrain's residential complex in Al-Azraq Camp consisting of 1,000 complete housing units, and establishing Bahrain Primary School for Girls in Irbid to contribute to the provision of education to Syrian refugees who are outside of the camps.
RCO Receives a Contribution to Build a Playground in Za'atari Camp
The Secretary General of the Royal Charity Organization (RCO) His Excellency Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed was received by the CEO of the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK) His Excellency Mr. Riyadh Satir, and during the meeting RCO received a financial contribution by the Secretary General His Excellency Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed from BBK to build a playground for kids in the Za’atari Camp in Jordan for the Syrian refugees.
This contribution comes as a complement to the royal directions of His Majesty the King to support the Syrian brothers and reduce the humanitarian burden of the fraternal Hashemite Kingdom in protecting and helping the refugees. As the project of this playground will provide a wide area to accommodate the largest number of refugees to entertain them and spread a spirit of joy and excitement under the harsh circumstances they’re going through.
Also, this project was preceded by huge charitable endeavors done by RCO in this field through building the first and biggest school in the Za’atari camp which accommodates up to 6 thousand students from both genders, as well as contributing with a group of residential units since the beginning of the refugees’ migration.
Moreover, the contribution was received in the presence of the Assistant Secretary General His Excellency Mr. Yusuf Al-Yaqoob and the Head of the Donation Department Mrs. Mai Al-Sai, and from BBK Mrs. Rafa Qadoora the Director of Public Relations and the bank’s Public Relations Specialist Mr. Abdulrahman Dansh.
